Turned armament parts for a model of the French AML light armored car in 1:35 scale: a barrel for the 20 mm cannon and a barrel for the mortar.
Responsibility details are not available.
The AML is a French light armored car whose variant designated 60-20 carries two different weapons in a single turret: a rapid-fire 20 mm cannon and a mortar. It is precisely the muzzles of the barrels that are among the places where the plastic part from the kit shows most on this vehicle, because they lie in the line of sight and are usually glued up from two halves.
According to the name these are turned armament parts in 1:35 scale, specifically a barrel for the 20 mm cannon and a barrel for the mortar. They are turned barrels and parts, accessories for vehicles. Check the exact number of parts and the kit the set is dimensioned for on the box and in the enclosed instructions.
Turned parts are glued with super glue; cement for plastic has no effect on them. The hole in the turret mantlet usually has to be widened slightly with a drill or a tapered burr, so that the part seats without pressure. Wash and degrease the surface before gluing and before painting. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that the muzzle of the barrel is not filled in; darkening the inside of the muzzle right at the end works well.
It will be appreciated by modelers who are bothered by the seam and the blunt muzzle on a kit barrel and who want the armament to be accurate even seen close up. The set is an accessory for a vehicle model; paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
