A set of turned metal barrels for the Russian 23 mm ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun in 1:35 scale from the firm Aber. A detail accessory, not a kit in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of turned metal barrels for the Russian twin-barreled anti-aircraft gun ZU-23-2 of 23 mm, in 1:35 scale from the firm Aber. It is not a model of the weapon but accurate replacement parts, which on a model replace the plastic barrels. It is intended for models of the ZU-23-2 gun itself and of vehicles it is mounted on.
The ZU-23-2 is a Soviet towed twin-barreled automatic gun of 23 mm, introduced at the end of the 1950s. It is used against low-flying targets and ground targets alike and to this day it is among the most widespread light anti-aircraft weapons in the world. It is also mounted on the beds and platforms of the most varied vehicles.
The turned barrels have a faithful bore and profile and need neither drilling nor cleaning up of seams. Separate the parts from the casting stubs, degrease them and glue them on with cyanoacrylate glue. Prime the metal surface before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
