A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale. The pre-cut masks help you separate the rubber tire bands of the road wheels cleanly from their hubs, so that while airbrushing a crisp transition of colors arises without laborious covering up. This is an accessory which is applied to the parts of the base kit, not a model in its own right; the kit has to be obtained separately.
The BMP-3 is a Soviet and Russian amphibious infantry fighting vehicle which combines heavy armament with a tracked chassis and the ability to swim. The version in the armament of the United Arab Emirates represents the export form deployed in desert conditions. The vehicle carries an infantry squad and supports it with fire from the turret.
Stick the masks onto cleaned and degreased wheel parts, press the edges down carefully and apply the paint in thin coats, so that it does not run under the film. Once dry, take the masks off carefully. For a desert scheme, sand shades and fine weathering with dust work well.
