This photo-etched set is intended to raise the detail of a plastic model of the British 17pdr Mk.I anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale. It is not a gun kit of its own but an accessory that replaces or completes selected plastic parts with fine metal pieces.
The British 17pdr Mk.I anti-tank gun of 76.2 mm caliber was among the most effective Allied anti-tank guns of the Second World War. It also made its mark as the main armament of the Sherman Firefly tank.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a glass surface and bend them on a bending tool or between two rulers. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy; degrease the metal before painting and apply a base coat for metals.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
