A detail set for improving a model of a vehicle with KMT-5M, KMT-7 and KMT-9 mine rollers in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory that replaces the coarse plastic towing cables from the box with a faithful combination of flexible copper wire rope and cast resin eyes. The result has the right thickness and a real lay, and it looks natural.
Towing and mine-clearing cables are prominent items on armored vehicles. Unlike plastic, scale wire rope can be bent naturally and routed the way it hangs on the real vehicle. The resin eyes faithfully imitate the end fittings into which the rope is glued.
Cut the rope to the length you need and glue the ends into the resin eyes with super glue. Clean the casting remains off the eyes before fitting them. The cable is easy to position on its mounts and can then be painted and weathered together with the model: metal holds its shape and does not spring back.
This is an accessory for a model. The vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
