A pallet of cement bags in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer MAiM: a ready-made load for the bed of a truck, a forklift or the corner of any building site.
Responsibility details are not available.
A transport pallet loaded with cement bags in 1:35 scale. A loaded pallet is a prop with two roles: on a building site it represents a stock of material, and in a logistics scene a finished load ready to be moved. In both cases it gives a diorama meaning, because somebody brought the material, somebody will use it, and the viewer works the story out for themselves.
Stand the pallet by a concrete mixer and a wall under construction, on a truck bed or under a crane sling, on a loading bay beside other pallets. It works superbly paired with worker figures, because one bag leaning against the stack or torn open on the ground turns a static prop into a living picture. It fills out with the other building site accessories from MAiM in 1:35 scale, such as a concrete mixer, signs or empty pallets.
After cleaning up and priming, give the bags a base in a muted paper shade and set the individual pieces slightly apart in color. A darker wash in the creases between the bags will bring out their soft shape, while a dry brush pulls out the edges and the printing. The essential finishing touch is cement dust, because light pigments on the surface of the bags, on the pallet and on the ground around them sell the loose contents.
A diorama prop, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unpainted, meant to be cleaned up and painted; paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
