The second sheet in the same range of printed paper accessories from ETA diorama. It holds designs of religious pictures prepared to be cut out and glued into scenes in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit and not a waterslide decal; it is printed paper that you work with a scalpel and glue. The sheet can be combined with the first part of the range if you need more varied designs in a scene.
With printed accessories, size decides everything. A picture that looks right on a model measures a few millimeters in 1:35 scale — a large format gives away at once that the element does not fit. Before you start gluing, hold the cut piece up against a figure or a doorway and compare the proportions. Check the thickness of the paper against the frame in the same way: if you suggest the frame with too heavy a profile, the whole picture will visually stand out from the wall.
Cut against a metal ruler with a sharp blade and darken the cut edge with a pencil. Brush the glue onto the surface, not onto the print, and in a thin layer — PVA or matte paper glue holds well and does not wrinkle. You make the frame from a strip of thin plastic profile, card or painted paper; for a gilded frame a thin line of metallic paint applied with a scriber or the tip of a brush is enough. Then age the paper with a faint ocher tint and a weak wash so that it does not look like a fresh print, and finally coat it with matte varnish, which evens out the sheen of the whole scene.
This is a printed paper accessory for a diorama. Glue, paints, a model and figures are not included in the package.
