The 1:35 Crusader – Italeri is a Quickwheel masking set for the road wheels. Before you start applying them, lay a mask on dry and verify that the wheel looks the way you expect.

An accessory for painting, not a kit. The set sets the boundary on a wheel between the wheel disk and the rubber tire and is cut for the kit from the Italeri company. We state the target kit because sets for the same vehicle prepared for other kits exist as well.
It occasionally happens that the parts in your box do not correspond to what a set counts on. Kits are released again over the years, molds are supplemented and reworked, and the package may hold a wheel with a different shape of hub or a different diameter. You will notice it first during the dry test, so never leave it out: just lay the mask on and watch whether the gap to the edge of the tire comes out the same around the whole perimeter. When a mask is clearly smaller or larger, do not pull it over the edge nor try to stretch it. A smaller mask can be used as a guide and the rest covered with liquid mask; with a marked difference it is more honest to reach for the variant for your kit. A difference in the mere shape of the molded part, which has no influence on the diameter, does not disqualify the set.
For modelers who are building the kit mentioned and want their wheels dealt with surely and quickly. The dry test takes a minute and saves any sanding.
Paints, thinners and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
