This is not a kit but a decal sheet in 1:35 scale. The set is aimed at the period Hungarian markings of armored vehicles of the Pz.IV and StuG III types. It is made by HAD models, a Hungarian brand specializing in decals for plastic models; the sheets are printed as wet, waterslide decals on a clear carrier film.
It makes it possible to finish a model with period Hungarian markings instead of the schemes supplied in the base kit, or to build another variant of the same type of vehicle. The designs are cut from the sheet one by one, so they can be combined as needed. Check the contents against the sheet supplied once it arrives.
Decals hold best on a smooth gloss base, so spray the place of application with gloss clear coat first. Cut the design out close to the edge of the carrier film and dip it in lukewarm water until it starts to release from the paper backing. Settle it on a dampened area, nudge it into position with a brush and soak the surplus water up with a paper tissue. On a busy surface with rivets and engraved lines a decal softener helps, as it draws the film down onto the surface. Once dry, go over the whole model with a matte or semi-matte varnish so that the edges of the film disappear.
A decal sheet is an accessory for a model. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
