Doctors without borders 1:35 is a printed paper sheet from ETA diorama with the markings of a humanitarian mission for dioramas. It is not a kit or a decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet is a paper accessory for scenes in 1:35 scale and carries printed motifs connected with a humanitarian medical mission — markings, tarpaulins and notices that are stuck up in a scene on a vehicle, on a tent, on the gate of a camp or on the wall of a building. It is not a kit, a photo-etched set or a waterslide decal. The motifs are a depiction of the period used for the credibility of a scene.
This type of sheet works best at the moment when a scene has a storyline. A sign on a fence on its own is just graphics; as soon as a figure in light clothing, a stretcher or crates of supplies stand under it, the sign starts to make sense and the viewer fills in what is happening in the scene. When laying it out, therefore, think about the line of sight: the main marking belongs where the viewer looks first, and the smaller notices then in the second plane.
On flat areas a thin layer of PVA glue applied to the undercoat is enough. If a marking is to sit on a tarpaulin or on the side of a tent, first fold the paper over the edge of a rule and let it ripple, so that it follows the fabric; flat taut graphics on a soft undercoat immediately give away that it is stuck-on paper. Blacken the edges after trimming with a marker. A light matte clear coat from a spray applied from a distance will level the sheen of the print, and a fine wash will bring out the folds.
It is a printed paper accessory for a diorama. Glue, paints, figures and vehicles are not included in the package.
