About product

PANZER ART 1:35 Dug in German Pz.Kpfw II strong point (North Africa)

A resin diorama scene in 1:35 scale from the PANZER ART brand, which captures a dug-in German light tank Pz.Kpfw II used as an improvised strongpoint in North Africa. The set forms the base of a scene with the sunken vehicle, the ground and the pit. This is not a standalone kit of the tank but a scene for building a diorama.

The real subject

The Pz.Kpfw II was a German light tank that was losing its combat value in the later stages of the war and used to be deployed for reconnaissance or as a fixed firing position. Digging it into the ground turned a knocked-out or obsolete vehicle into a low strongpoint of the defense that was harder to hit.

Usage tips

Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and protect your airways when sanding resin. Tie the ground and the pit together with pigments, sand and dry grass tufts into a faithful desert scene.

Who the scene is for

  • For builders of dioramas from the North African campaign in 1:35 scale.
  • For modelers of German equipment of the Second World War.
  • For advanced modelers working with resin.

This is a resin diorama scene, not a complete kit. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
