A photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a set of thin metal fenders for the American M8 light armored car and its M20 derivative. The metal parts replace the thicker plastic fenders from the base kit.
The photo-etched fenders have a realistically thin profile and true stiffeners. The model gains a finer hull outline, and the option opens up of suggesting bending or damage in the field. It is intended for plastic models of the M8 and M20 vehicles in 1:35 scale.
Separate the parts with a scalpel, shape them on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The fenders can be deformed slightly for a realistic look. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The vehicle kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
