Injection-molded plastic figure of a French infantryman from the Second World War in 1:35 scale from Master Box. It is a single figure with period gear and weapons, meant to be glued and painted. The figure suits a wartime diorama as an addition and also stands on its own as a collector's display piece.
The French army of 1940 faced the German attack in its characteristic uniform with a long greatcoat and the Adrian pattern helmet. The gear still drew in part on the tradition of the First World War. The figure captures a typical infantryman of this era, including his personal weapons, as he looked in the course of combat operations on the Western Front.
Cut the parts from the sprue carefully, clean up the mold lines and glue them with cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. Paint the uniform and the skin with acrylic paints, deepen the shadows with a thin wash and pick out the raised edges with a dry brush. Shade the face in layers; a final matte clear coat will even the surface out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
