Front and rear fenders for the Tiger II and the Jagdtiger are an Aber photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale. Thin metal fenders for German heavy equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It holds the front and rear fenders for the German Tiger II heavy tank and the Jagdtiger tank destroyer. The photo-etched parts replace the thick-walled plastic fenders with true thin sheet of the right texture and with brackets. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory that sharpens the build.
The Tiger II and the Jagdtiger built on its chassis were among the heaviest German vehicles of the end of the Second World War. Fenders made of thin sheet were often bent or torn off in action, which the photo-etched set lets you render faithfully.
Separate the photo-etched fenders with a knife and make the bends along the grooves. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. For a realistic look it is worth bending or damaging the fenders slightly. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer; pick out rust and wear.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a vehicle model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
