This is a photo-etched brass detail set from the Polish brand Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a set of thin metal parts with which you replace the coarser plastic front fenders and rubber mud flaps on a model of the Panther tank in its early Ausf. A and D versions. The realistic thickness of the sheet makes it possible to render both bends and damage faithfully.
The front fenders of early Panthers deformed easily and the mud flaps were often torn or missing. The Aber photo-etched parts respect how thin they were, so once shaped they look realistic. The package usually also contains small brackets and stiffeners.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife, bend them on a photo-etch bending tool or along a razor blade and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); they can also be soldered. For a vehicle from the front, bend the fenders slightly and render the mud flaps as bent or torn. Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer.
This is an accessory for detailing, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
