What the accessory represents

Compressed gas bottles for technical gases in 1:35 scale. Building and painting tips

Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder finely, so that the cylindrical shape stays smooth; every flat sanding mark shows up on a cylinder. Wash the parts before painting, degrease them and apply a primer. The color distinction of the bottles by type of gas differs from country to country and from period to period, so go by a photograph of the subject you are building and do not rely on today's standards. Fidelity benefits if you do not simply stand the bottles upright side by side: a bottle leaning or lying down, a chain around the neck and a scuffed bottom rim look more used than a clean new piece.
