SX-Art 1:35 GAZ-233014 with an anti-tank missile system – tinting film I. is a pre-cut self-adhesive film for the glazing of this version of the Tiger armored car. An accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pre-cut self-adhesive tinting film in 1:35 scale for the glazing of the GAZ-233014 armored car in the version carrying an anti-tank missile system. It is neither a kit nor a painting mask: the film is stuck onto the clear part and stays there, so the glazing gains a color cast without any spraying of tinted varnish. The designation I. refers to the first part of the series of films for this version of the vehicle; the second part is a separate item.
The basis stays the same — a tall boxy 4x4 cab with flat panes of glazing in thick frames and with side vision ports. The version with the missile system does, however, differ from the ordinary Tiger in the structure on the roof and in the layout of the upper part of the hull, and that carries over into the parts of the kit the film is cut to. It therefore cannot be mixed up with the films for the basic version of the vehicle, even though the glazing looks similar at first glance.
Offer the film up on the clear part while the backing is still on and compare the outline with the shape of the glass and with the inner edge of the frame. Given that several closely related films exist for the various versions of the Tiger, this check matters more here than it would with a one-off set: make sure the part in your hand really belongs to the version with the missile system. It is stuck on only once the model is finished, varnished and dry. Degrease the part, touch it only by its edges and work the pressure from the center out to the edges so that no bubble is left.
This is an accessory for a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
