A Hauler 1:35 photo-etched set for the Soviet GAZ-AAA truck of 1943 is an accessory for a plastic kit you have already bought, not a model in its own right. It adds thin metal elements to the vehicle, where the thickness of plastic is apparent at first glance. The set is meant for the MiniArt kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The photo-etched sheet is prepared for the MiniArt plastic kit of the three-axle truck, specifically for its wartime form of 1943. The package is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory for the modeler who already has the kit. The composition of the sheet is given by the maker on the packaging.
The GAZ-AAA was a Soviet truck in a 6x4 arrangement, derived from the two-axle GAZ-AA type, which grew out of an American design produced under license. It served as a universal rear-area and artillery tractor and a carrier of bodies. The cars of wartime production differ from the prewar ones in a simplified form, which followed from the shortage of material, and it is precisely at this guise that the set aims.
On trucks photo-etch pays off most where plastic is necessarily thick, that is, on the grilles, the steps, the brackets, the hinges and the edges of the fenders. Proceed from the parts hidden under the body to the visible ones, so that you do not damage the small fittings during further handling. Degrease the metal before gluing and coat it with a primer, or neither the Soviet green nor the dusty weathering will hold. For the finish a sparing wash into the hollows and drybrushing on the edges suit, which lifts the structure of the photo-etch out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base MiniArt kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
