A photo-etched detail set, the German 75 mm PaK 40 anti-tank gun - vol. 2, add-on set (armor), in 1:35 scale from Aber. A metal accessory with the shield, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on photo-etched set (vol. 2) in 1:35 scale focused on the armor shield of the German 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun. It is neither a gun model nor a complete kit, but a collection of fine photo-etched metal parts that follow on from the basic set. The metal shield is thinner in scale than the plastic part and allows the armor plate, shot holes and damage to be shown faithfully.
The PaK 40 was the standard German anti-tank gun of 75 mm caliber from the second half of the Second World War. Its sloped armored shield protected the crew against shell splinters and light fire and is one of the most striking features of the whole weapon.
Bend the shield panels accurately on a sheet bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend finishing the basic set first. After painting, with a primer and a base shade, pick out the edges with a drybrush and add damage and rust with pigments if you wish.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
