An Aber photo-etched detail set - vol. 1, the basic set for the German 88 mm PaK 43/41 anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale is a metal accessory for a truer build of this heavy gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a gun model but a set of photo-etched brass parts from the Polish company Aber. The basic set (vol. 1) replaces and completes the key plastic parts for models of the German 88 mm PaK 43/41 anti-tank gun. The thin metal parts refine the build where injected plastic is too coarse.
The PaK 43/41 was a German anti-tank gun of 88 mm caliber with a long L/71 barrel, one of the most effective anti-tank guns of the Second World War. To simplify production it was mounted on an improvised wheeled carriage, which earned it the nickname Scheunentor, meaning barn door. It was fielded from 1943.
The parts are cut from the fret, cleaned up and bent along the scored lines. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer for metal; fit the fine parts under a magnifier and with tweezers.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
