The real subject

The 8.8 cm PaK 43/41 was an exceptionally powerful German anti-tank gun of the Second World War. Because of its large carriage and dimensions it earned the nickname Scheunentor, the barn door, but its long L/71 barrel destroyed Allied tanks at considerable range. The straightness of the barrel is crucial for a faithful model.
