An Aber 1:35 photo-etched detail set for the Pz.Kpfw. 754(r) KV-2 heavy tank (basic set) is a metal accessory for a model of the captured Soviet tank in German service; it is not a kit of its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A basic photo-etched set from Aber in 1:35 scale in etched brass. It serves to sharpen a plastic model of the KV-2 heavy tank in its form as a captured vehicle in German service, the designation 754(r). It is not a model but an accessory that replaces plastic parts with thin metal features.
The Soviet KV-2 heavy tank carried a massive turret with a 152 mm howitzer and was fielded at the start of the Second World War. The German army took captured examples into its own inventory under the designation Pz.Kpfw. 754(r); this so-called captured equipment, the Beutepanzer, is a popular subject with modelers.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and shape the bends over a metal edge or on a bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. Finish the running gear and the hull first, and only then add the fine photo-etched features.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
