Responsibility details are not available.
This is a turned metal barrel in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aber, made with a muzzle brake of the middle type. It replaces the plastic barrel of the 75 mm StuK 40 gun with a barrel length of 48 calibers. It is not a model of a vehicle but a detail accessory for a more faithful rendering of the most conspicuous feature of an assault gun.
The 7.5 cm StuK 40 L/48 gun was the armament of the late versions of the German assault gun built on the chassis of a medium tank. The long barrel moved the machine from infantry support toward the role of a tank destroyer and became its typical mark. The muzzle brake went through several forms during production; the middle type corresponds to the transitional period between the early and the late shape and is a guide to identifying the production series.
Cut off the plastic barrel at the cradle, level the opening and fit the metal part dry, so that the axis sits right. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) on a degreased surface and lay on a base coat meant for metals before painting. A muzzle brake clogs with paint easily, so spray it in thinner coats. On assault guns it is rewarding to suggest worn paint on the edge of the barrel and settled dust.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
