A set of ten jerrycans of the German pattern in 1:35 scale, in the version with a pouring tube and with the Sandrik marking.
Responsibility details are not available.
The German standard jerrycan is one of the few objects of the Second World War that are still in use today practically without change. The sheet metal container for twenty liters was pressed from two halves, cross-shaped ribbing stiffened its sides and at the top it carried three handles side by side. It is precisely those that are most striking about it: the middle one let one man carry the can, the outer ones two, and in a chain full containers were passed from hand to hand. On a vehicle model, in a crate or simply set down by a wall, a jerrycan is among the elements that give a scene scale and life.
There are ten jerrycans in the package and the set is given in the version with a pouring tube, that is with the fitting through which the fuel was poured into a tank. The cans carry the Sandrik marking, by which this set differs from the otherwise identical sets of the same line. The exact number of parts, the breakdown into individual pieces and the list of variants are stated in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed.
In the field the cans were scuffed above all on the edges and on the handles, so it is exactly there that careful dry brushing pays off. The particular method of preparing the parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
An accessory set is supplied. The vehicle model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
