German Pak 40 antitank gun 1:35 is an Aber photo-etched detail set for refining the exterior of a model of the gun. It is not a kit but a metal accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched metal detail set in 1:35 scale from Aber for the plastic model of the German Pak 40 antitank gun. It is not a gun kit but a set of fine photo-etched parts that refine the controls, the shield and the small details of the carriage. The set is meant for experienced modelers.
The Pak 40 was the standard German 7.5 cm antitank gun of the Second World War. It replaced weaker predecessors and became the backbone of German antitank defense on every front. Thanks to ample penetrating power it could take on most of the Allied tanks of its day.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade, bend them over a bending tool or a metal rule and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal parts before painting and lay down a primer for metal. The thin gun shield is the ideal place to replace plastic with finer photo-etched metal.
This is a photo-etched accessory for a model, not a standalone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
