1:35 Hazard Stripes / Warnstreifen Style D, pre-weathered - Decals

MAiM 1:35 Hazard stripes, style D, pre-weathered (a decal set)

A set of water-slide decals from MAiM in 1:35 scale with hazard (warning) stripes in the style D variant. The decals are made pre-weathered, that is with wear and soiling already suggested. It is not a model and not a kit but a decorative accessory for dioramas, equipment and industrial scenes.

What the accessory is for

Water-slide decals transfer the yellow and black hazard stripes onto the edges of platforms, ramps, railings, containers or machinery in a diorama. The pre-weathered finish saves the work of weathering afterwards and evokes the impression of a surface in use right away.

Usage tips

• Level the surface and coat it with a gloss varnish for a clean application of the decal.
• Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water and slide it into place, then settle it with a decal softener.
• On edges and corners use more softener so that the decal follows the shape.
• Once it is dry, overcoat it with a matte varnish and fine-tune the patina if needed.

Who the accessory is for

• For builders of dioramas and of industrial and military scenes in 1:35 scale.
• For modelers who want clean hazard markings without masking and spraying.

This is a set of decals, not a model. Paints, varnishes and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
