An injection-molded plastic kit of the German HF.7 Stahlfeldwagen field wagon in 1:35 scale from the maker Riich Models. It is a horse-drawn vehicle with a steel structure; the package contains photo-etched parts and decals. Take the exact package contents from the manufacturer's catalog.
The HF.7 Stahlfeldwagen was a German steel field wagon introduced shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War. It was drawn by a two-horse team and served to carry supplies and material. Unlike the older wagons with wooden wheels, it had smaller wheels with tires. Despite motorization, horse-drawn vehicles remained an important part of German rear-area transport throughout the war.
The wagon is a rewarding addition to a diorama with infantry or on a rear-area theme. Use thin modeling cement on the joints, work the small photo-etched parts carefully, treat the surface with a base color (primer) and apply the finish with an airbrush. Bring the wooden and metal surfaces out with glazes, washes and a dry brush, and finish the weathering with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
