It is a multimedia kit - besides the plastic it contains clear parts for the lights and windows, a small photo-etched fret and vinyl cables and tires. The vehicle is a single-seat special built to detect mines and booby-trap systems.
The Husky VMMD (Vehicle Mounted Mine Detection) is a South African designed mine-clearance vehicle for route clearance, with blast protection (the MRAP category). Under the vehicle it carries the antenna array of a ground-penetrating radar, which is lowered to the ground during operations and helps uncover mines and improvised explosive devices. The subject belongs to the military history of its period.
Glue the clear parts with a glue suitable for transparent plastics, so that they do not go cloudy. Attach the vinyl tires and cables with cyanoacrylate glue. A primer, an airbrush coat and weathering with washes and pigments for the dust effects typical of desert service are all recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
