This plastic kit captures the Japanese Type 90 main battle tank in the popular 1:35 scale. The turret with its powerful 120 mm gun is precisely reproduced, and a clear part imitates the gunner's sight for the main armament. The running gear and the suspension are done as separate three-dimensional parts for a convincing look.
The Type 90 entered service in 1990 as the third generation of main battle tank of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. It combines a 120 mm smoothbore gun with an accurate fire control system, which includes a ballistic computer, a laser rangefinder and gun stabilization, allowing accurate fire even on the move. It is among the modern, well protected and mobile tanks of its day.
Finish the running gear and the suspension before you close the hull up. Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic; a primer coat as a base and spraying with an airbrush are worth using. The modern two-color camouflage comes to life with fine edge highlighting, and light dust pigments suit the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
