An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Jagdpanzer 38(D) tank destroyer in 1:35 scale from Amusing Hobby. The model captures the low tracked hull with a fixed casemate and provides a basis for a detailed build and for weathering.
The Jagdpanzer 38(D) was a late-war German tank destroyer project following on from the concept of small tracked destroyers. It was marked by a low silhouette, sloped frontal armor and a gun in a fixed superstructure. It was a development variant with changes compared with its series-produced predecessors; a number of such projects remained at the level of development or prototypes toward the end of the war.
We recommend finishing the running gear and the inner parts before the hull is closed up. Use thin cement for plastic and clean the small parts of flash. An airbrush and a primer suit the paintwork; typical is late-war three-color camouflage. Washes, edge highlighting and pigments with mud effects on the suspension will bring the surface to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
