JGSDF reconnaissance motorcycle and high mobility vehicle 1:35 from the manufacturer Tamiya is a set of two plastic kits of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force in one box.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya brings together two plastic kits in 1:35 scale in one box: a reconnaissance motorcycle of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and a high mobility off-road vehicle whose molds come from the Japanese brand Fine Molds. The package was released in 2018 and is intended as a convenient basis for a smaller diorama, because the two subjects logically belong together and complement each other in size and in color.
Motorcycles are an important part of the equipment of the reconnaissance units of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force; for the sake of staying inconspicuous they are finished in an olive shade and parts of the engine stay matte black. The high mobility vehicle is an off-road car with very good going across country, which carries up to ten people or a matching load, and it serves to carry both crews and material.
The motorcycle is a small model with thin parts — glue the frame and the wheel spokes with a thin modeling cement for plastic applied with a small brush, so that the plastic does not fog. Paint the chassis and the interior of the vehicle before you close the body up. A primer forms the base, and a uniform olive shade goes over it; shade the matte black parts of the engine and the tires with a slightly grayed black, so that they do not look too hard in scale. Keep the weathering restrained: a fine dark wash in the recesses, dust pigments on the lower areas and drybrushing on the edges. Mask the glass and the headlights before spraying.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
