Responsibility details are not available.
A figure of a sailor of the Kriegsmarine of the Second World War period in 1:35 scale. The name ties it to fast boats, Schnellboot in German, and to human torpedoes, that is craft operated by a single man that were committed in coastal waters in the closing stages of the war. The figure takes a finished model a step further: as long as nobody stands beside it, it remains a piece of equipment, while with a crew it becomes a scene that tells a story.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder; smooth over the marks left by production, because they will be emphasized under the paint. Choose the glue and the thinning of the paints according to the maker's information about the material on the packaging. Before painting, wash the figure, degrease it and apply a base coat. Dark shades of clothing flatten easily on a small figure, so look for the shadows in a darker tone of the same color rather than in black, and bring the highlights out only on the edges of the folds. If you set the figure on a deck, tie it in with the scene with a thin layer of soiling and the same final varnish.
For a modeler who is building a ship model or a harbor scene in 1:35 scale and is looking for another figure for it.
The model of the boat, paints, glue and a base are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
