A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale intended for detailing the exterior of the American LAV-AT wheeled antitank vehicle. It is not a standalone vehicle model but an accessory that is fitted to a plastic kit and replaces or refines the parts that cannot be injection-molded thinly enough.
The LAV-AT is the antitank version of the American eight-wheeled LAV armored vehicle, carrying a launcher for guided antitank missiles. The vehicle's exterior equipment, brackets and grilles are a rewarding subject for refinement in photo-etch.
The parts of thin brass sheet are separated with a sharp knife and shaped with tweezers or a bending tool. They are glued with super glue. Degrease the brass before painting and lay a primer for metal over it, then weather with washes and pigments.
This is an add-on photo-etched set. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
