A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard intended to refine the kit of the Stryker M-1130 CV wheeled command vehicle. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory that replaces and supplements selected exterior elements with thin metal parts.
The photo-etched parts add fine grilles, loops, brackets, eyelets and other small details whose injection molding in plastic runs into the limits of the mold in 1:35 scale. The model thereby gains a more realistic surface and a depth that the kit alone will not offer.
Cut the parts out with a scalpel right at the fret and make the bends on a photo-etch bender. Glue the metal elements with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy. Degrease the surface and apply primer before painting so that the paint holds on the smooth metal.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
