A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard for the Stryker M-1131 FSV wheeled armored vehicle. It is not a model but an accessory that adds a system of securing and tie-down straps used to lash additional equipment and supplies to the hull of the vehicle.
Tie-down straps and buckles are hard to render in plastic. The photo-etched parts offer thin, faithful straps that can be bent into the real shape taken under load, creating the impression of a lived-in, used vehicle in the field.
Cut the parts out at the fret and make the bends and curves carefully so that the straps look natural. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy. Set them apart from the hull in color, and the buckles can be suggested with a metallic shade.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
