1:35 Marbel Decal Black/Beige

Marble Decal Black/Beige - marble paving (1:35, USCHI van der Rosten)

A decal sheet with the texture of a marble floor in a black and beige form, not a kit. It serves to create a realistic paved floor for dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale - a courtyard, a hall, the interior of a grand building or a damaged urban space. The marble pattern is printed on thin film that, once sealed with clear, is practically indistinguishable from a painted surface. It is made by the German brand USCHI van der Rosten.

Use

• Prepare the base smooth and preferably in a lighter tone - the color shows through the film.
• For a three-dimensional effect the base can be pre-shaded finely with good contrast; that softens slightly once the decal is applied but stays legible.
• Apply the decal wet onto a flat surface and settle it with a setting solution so that it adheres without bubbles.
• Emphasize the joints or the edges of the tiles with a fine wash and use pigments for grime.
• Finish with a clear coat according to the sheen the floor is to have.

Who it is for

For builders of dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 who want to lay in a paved floor quickly and convincingly without laboriously painting the pattern by hand.

This is a finishing accessory (a decal), not a model. Paints, clear coat, setting solutions and a base board are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
