Radiator covers were used on military trucks to regulate engine temperature and to protect the radiator against cold and dirt, especially in the winter and dusty conditions of the Eastern Front and Africa.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces, using respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a primer on before painting; the fabric folds of the cover come out well after a darker shade and a light wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Using it requires the matching base kit of the Mercedes truck.
