A figure of a soldier on skis in 1:35 scale. The skis and poles make it an addition to a winter scene: a patrol in mountain terrain, a runner between posts or a figure that has just reached a parked vehicle. A figure on skis works in a scene on its own as well, because it brings movement into it and suggests the weather the action takes place in.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part, sand the remainder down and smooth out the production marks so that they do not show under the paint. For the glue and for thinning the paint, go by the manufacturer's information about the material on the box. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, then prime it; otherwise the paint holds badly on a smooth surface. The face and hands are painted with a brush in layers, while the clothing will take an airbrush. When seating the figure in a scene, make sure the skis lie along their whole length on the surface and do not end up hanging above it, otherwise the figure looks as if it were floating; level out any unevenness with filler or snow paste.
