Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of figures of French infantry in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. It contains six figures - four riflemen, a machine gunner and a commander - supplemented by two sprues of weapons and kit. The precise modeling of the uniforms and kit is typical of Tamiya and makes the build easier for beginners too.
The figures capture the French infantryman of the opening period of the Second World War. The soldiers wore the khaki field uniform of the mid-1930s pattern, which came with a long greatcoat and a characteristic helmet. The set is ideal for portraying the fighting of 1940 and it suits French as well as Allied vehicles of the time.
Separate the parts and join them with thin cement for plastic. Paint the khaki and mustard tones of the uniforms with matte colors, and pick out the folds and details with a dark wash and a fine dry brush. For the faces, successive layering of flesh shades works well.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
