1:35 Military Posters is a printed paper sheet with period military posters for dioramas in 1:35 scale. It is a scenic accessory, not a kit and not a waterslide decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet holds period military posters printed on paper and meant to be cut out and glued into a diorama in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit and not a decal. The designs are period images used to make a scene of that era convincing; in a diorama they work as printed matter on a notice board, on the wall of a building or in an interior.
Posters of this kind read best in surroundings where a viewer would expect them: a headquarters corridor, an office, a notice board by the gate, the wall of a store or a workshop. Combining them with other small items works well — a frame, a board, a sign — so that a whole grows instead of a lone cut-out. In cramped interiors check first that the design will be visible at all from the viewing angle; otherwise nobody will appreciate the trimming work.
Cut with a fresh blade along a steel ruler on a cutting mat and go over the white edge after trimming with dark paint. Use PVA glue for paper thinned with water and apply it in a thin layer both to the surface and to the back of the cut piece. The paper takes gentle toning with oil paint or pigment, which brings the age of the printed matter into line with the rest of the scene, and a final matte varnish that evens out the sheen. Try the method on an offcut of the sheet first.
The sheet is supplied as a printed accessory. Glue, paints, varnishes and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
