It is a detail set that the modeler uses on an already built or part-built model of the American tank, replacing with it the plastic parts whose thickness is unrealistic in scale. Voyager Model is a Chinese manufacturer of photo-etched aftermarket sets for military subjects. The set is designed for the particular Tamiya 35326 kit.
The M1A2 SEP is an upgraded variant of the American M1 Abrams main battle tank with improved electronics, thermal imaging and fire control system. The TUSK designation means an add-on kit of features for operations in built-up areas: reactive armor tiles on the sides of the hull, slat armor at the rear, a shield for the loader and other protective features. In the second version, TUSK II, further panels and turret modifications were added. It is precisely these thin sheet pieces, consoles and clamps that are hard to reproduce in plastic, and the photo-etched set handles them in brass at the right thickness.
With more extensive sets it pays to plan the order of the steps in advance. Fit the photo-etched parts that are glued to the sides of the hull before you close the model up and fit the running gear, otherwise you will not reach the glued edge. Try the sections that go over one another dry and only then glue them. Leave small clamps and consoles until the end, so that they are not knocked off during handling. Degrease the whole model before painting, because brass otherwise will not hold the paint.
