Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale intended for detailing the German sWG 40 heavy launching device of the Second World War period. It is not a standalone model but an accessory that is fitted to a plastic kit and adds the fine elements of the frame and the launching gear that injection molding cannot render thinly enough.
The sWG 40 served the German army for firing heavy rockets from a frame structure. It is precisely the intricate metal structure of the frame and its brackets that makes a rewarding subject for photo-etched refinement.
The parts of thin brass sheet are separated with a sharp knife and shaped with tweezers. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before painting we recommend degreasing the brass and applying a primer for metal, then bringing out the patina with a wash and dust pigments.
This is an add-on photo-etched set. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
