1:35 Panther G - TAMIYA

Panther G - road wheel masks 1:35 (Quickwheel)

A set of Quickwheel masking templates for painting the road wheels of the German Panther Ausf. G tank in 1:35 scale. The masks are precisely cut from a flexible material and their shape matches the wheels of the given subject. You slide the wheel into the opening in the mask, which hugs the metal center and uncovers only the rubber tire band, so you spray the paint on precisely and without overspray.

Use

• Slide the wheel into the appropriate opening in the mask and seat it
• Bring the mask to the surface by tracing the recesses with a toothpick
• Spray the shade of the tire band or of the center on, ideally with an airbrush
• Once it has dried, take the wheel out; the masks can be used again after cleaning

Who it is for

For modelers building the Panther Ausf. G in 1:35 scale who want to separate the color of the rubber tire band from the metal disc cleanly and to speed up the painting of the interleaved road wheels. The set is prepared exactly for the wheels of this subject.

This is a masking accessory, not a model and not paint. The masks are tied to the wheels of the given type in the given scale.
