PLA ZTZ 99/99A MBT Basic and Side Skirts 1:35 (E.T. Model, a photo-etched set)

A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the maker E.T. Model for models of the Chinese ZTZ-99 and ZTZ-99A main battle tanks of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). The set brings together the basic photo-etched parts (Basic) with the parts of the side skirts (Side Skirts) and it replaces thicker plastic parts with finer metal ones, which capture thin sheet, grilles and brackets more faithfully.

Use

• Separate the parts from the fret and make the bends on the etched score lines, ideally in a bending tool or over a ruler.
• Shape the side skirts so that they follow the running gear of the tank naturally.
• Glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate glue.
• Degrease the parts before painting and use a primer.

Who the set is for

For modelers building the Chinese ZTZ-99 or ZTZ-99A tanks in 1:35 scale who want a higher level of detail than the plastic kit alone offers. Better suited to more advanced builders with experience of photo-etch.

This is not a model or a kit but a photo-etched detail accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
