An add-on set for modelers building the Polish Rosomak wheeled carrier in 1:35 scale. It is neither a model nor a part of one, but a small accessory: a set of temporary civilian registration plates such as the vehicles carry outside ordinary military service, for example during moves and trials. A detail like this can set a model apart from the rest and give it a specific story.

What the set is for

• Adds temporary civilian plates to a model of the carrier in place of the standard military ones.
• Lets the vehicle be built in the state in which it moves outside ordinary military service.

Usage tips

The surface the plate goes on has to be smooth, clean and free of grease, otherwise the accessory will not hold and the gap will show. Attach the plate only to a finished and varnished surface, not to bare plastic. Apply a minimum of glue, as the excess is hard to remove and leaves shiny marks. Try the exact position dry first and mark it with a light scribed line. Once dry, it is a good idea to go over the whole model with a matte or semi-matte varnish so that the accessory blends in with the rest of the vehicle.

For modelers of current Polish equipment who want to take a model down to the detail, and for diorama builders where civilian plates are part of the scene being told. The set assumes you already have the base model.

The set is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
