A resin figure in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Toro Model. It is a stand-alone historical figure for a diorama or a display base, not a kit of a piece of equipment. The casting is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and a base are not included in the box.
The subject is the commander of the I Brigade of the Polish Legions in 1915, that is, during the fighting of the First World War. What governs the modeling is the field uniform of the Legions from the middle of the war: a tunic of sober cut, riding breeches and high boots, leather straps and a soft cap. The figure is marked by a calm stance rather than an action pose, so it suits a headquarters scene or stands as a display figure in its own right.
Wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, sand the surfaces and protect your airways when sanding resin. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). After the primer, paint the uniform in muted acrylics and fine-tune the transitions and folds with oil paints. Build the face up in thin layers: on a portrait figure it is the face that decides, so paint slowly and keep checking the shape under a magnifier. Paint the leather straps and the boots separately in darker shades.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
