A decal sheet in 1:35 scale for models of the German tanks PzKpfw IV, Tiger I and Tiger II, on the theme of markings of the machines of well-known crews.
Responsibility details are not available.
The three tanks the sheet relates to form the backbone of collections of German vehicles. The PzKpfw IV accompanied the German army throughout the war and gradually changed from a support machine with a short gun into a full combat tank with a long barrel and Schürzen side skirts. The Tiger I brought a massive angular shape, thick armor and an 88 mm gun, together with interleaved road wheels, which gave a soft ride but caused trouble in mud and frost. The Tiger II went further still: sloped armor plates and a longer gun of the same caliber made it the heaviest German tank in series service. The subtitle of the sheet relates to the markings of the machines whose crews made their name on Tigers.
Decals in 1:35 scale for models of the tanks named. How many marking options the sheet carries and which machines they belong to is described in the instructions supplied with it.
The sheet holds classic wet decals. Cut the motif out closely, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and leave it to rest until the film releases from the paper. The surface of an armored vehicle is usually rougher after painting than that of an aircraft, so coat the area under the decal with a gloss varnish and use a softener; otherwise the edge of the film will give itself away. Set the numbers on the turret symmetrically with respect to the edges, flat-coat them once they are dry, and only then move on to the wash and the dusting.
For modelers of German vehicles in 1:35 scale. The package holds a decal sheet; the tank model, paints and varnish do not belong with it, unless stated otherwise.
