The set brings precisely printed paper road signs, direction signs and wayfinding boards connected with the landings in Normandy (D-Day), the fighting in the Ardennes and the defense of Bastogne, all reduced to 1:35. The Greek workshop ETA Diorama prepares them by digital printing with faithful colors and legible lettering. It is not a kit, but ready-made decorative accessories for dioramas from the Western Front.
Road signs and direction signs with period place names set a scene in particular battles of 1944 and 1945 at once. They give a display a geographic context and a legible story. They work at crossroads, on village greens and along roads with advancing machinery.
Glue the signs onto a thin piece of wood or a wire and set them into a base; the edges can be sanded and patinated for a worn look. Matte clear coat protects the printing, and a wash and pigments add the dust and the mud of the roads.
It is a decorative accessory made of paper, not a model. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
