This is not a tank model but an add-on set of photo-etched brass parts from the Polish company Aber. The vol. 6 set is focused on the box-type lubricant tanks for models of the Soviet KV-1 heavy tank. The metal parts replace the simplified plastic boxes with thin-walled pieces.
The KV-1 was a Soviet heavy tank of the Second World War, famous for its thick armor, which in the early part of the war resisted most German anti-tank weapons. It was driven by a diesel engine and carried a 76.2 mm gun in a rotating turret. It carried additional boxes and tanks on the rear and the sides.
The tank parts are cut from the fret, cleaned up and bent along the scored lines; a photo-etch bending tool helps. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and prime it with a primer for metal.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
