The injection-molded plastic kit captures the Soviet main battle tank T-72B. The model in 1:35 scale from the maker Trumpeter is richly broken up, it holds tracks built from individual track links, photo-etched parts and a wire tow cable, and it offers a faithful rendering of the hull, the turret and the running gear.
The T-72 is a Soviet main battle tank of the second generation put into production in the 1970s. The T-72B version of the 1980s brought stronger armor protection of the turret and further modifications. The main armament is a smoothbore gun of 125 mm caliber with an autoloader. The tank spread in many arrangements to the armies of a number of countries all over the world.
Assemble and fine-tune the link tracks and the running gear before the hull is finished; glue the photo-etched parts with a cyanoacrylate glue. Join the plastic with a thin modeling cement, apply a primer and spray the shades with an airbrush. The bulk of the tank comes into its own with shading by volume, washes and pigments for dust and mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
